Fundraising that is Focused on Children + Focused on Community + Focused on Christ

It's official! Our 2008-2009 Education First fundraiser will kick off with an exciting rally for the students on September 19. The kids are pumped up and ready to get their names into the drawing for the grand prize which this year is a gift card to Michigan Adventure!!!! Here’s how it works; families were sent, via email, an Education First red handbook (112 KB, PDF) explaining in detail the purpose and goals of the fundraiser along with sample letters to assist families.

We ask that each family send out a minimum of five (5) letters or contacts to people they know asking for support of their school. For every five (5) contacts made, their family name will be placed in the year end drawing for the Michigan Adventure gift card. We will be giving away other prizes as well throughout the year to help encourage the students to participate. And as we have mentioned before 100% of the proceeds we make from our fundraiser go directly to St. Stephen School to help educate our children. We are asking that everyone please participate since ALL students benefit from this fundraiser. Last year we had under 20% family participation and we raised over $16,000.00. Just think what we could do for our children if we all pitched in!
