Challenge for the Week

Every week this will be updates with your FAMILY CHALLENGE for the week!

This allows your family to express themselves and explore your faith as a unit and community. You as parents are the main faith connection your child will have. You will make the most difference in their life. So open up about God and make Him a normal topic of discussion!

September 25th 2011- Challenge this week is for to talk with your child about ways in which they SEE God in the world. What sticks out to them? At times, when is it hard to find God in their every day life?

October 16th 2011: This week we talked to the kids about "Following God" and ways they are able to do that. What ways do you follow God?

October 30th 2011: Halloween Party this week! We played games and talked about the upcoming "Saints Day." Perhaps talk to your Child about your favorite Saint and Why.

November 6th 2011: This week we discussed how important it is to follow God, even though at times we are blinded by talking about "The Man Born Blind." If we put our whole faith in him, we will "see." What do we get "Blinded By" that makes it hard for us to Follow God?

November 13th 2011: Begin talking about the "Mystery of Creation." Talk to you child about all the places that You see God, and maybe ask them to share some of they ways/places that they see him.

November 20th 2011: This week the Mystery of Creation takes a new toll on the students as we have them explore the significance of human life. Why each one of us is unique and why it is important to treat each other with respect this holiday season.
