Ways to Give
There are many ways you can support St. Stephen School. No matter how you make your gift or where you direct your gift, it is needed and greatly appreciated.
All of us can help – teachers, students, parents, grandparents, and donors. This help is essential to the success of St. Stephen School. Here are some ways you can help make a difference.
Online giving is a quick and easy way to send a gift to support St. Stephen School. If this gift is given in memorial or in honor of someone, please contact our office.

Pay by Check
Most donors find that a personal check is the easiest way to make a gift. These donations are fully tax-deductible and have an immediate impact upon the program for which the funds are allocated.
Pledge gifts are encouraged for Msgr. Alt Annual Fund. These pledges are payable to St. Stephen before June 30 of any given fiscal year.
Capital campaign pledges, payable over three to five years, can be used to increase the size of a gift, spread out contributions, and assist the school in planning for the future. Pledges must be made in writing.
Please mail all pledges to:
St. Stephen School 740 Gladstone Dr SE, East Grand Rapids MI 49506
Some donors have stock that have appreciated over time and would rather donate these instead of cash to the school. These gifts are unique in that the donor can take a federal tax deduction for the full, fair market value of the stock, regardless of how much the donor paid for the stock. No capital gains taxes apply.
A number of planned gift vehicles exist for donors to make gifts to a charity over time. Some of these include gifts of life insurance, bequests, remainder trusts and other annuities. Many unique and beneficial tax advantages can be gained through these gifts.
With matching gifts you can sometimes double or even triple your gift! Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees.
